Bounce Rate: Alexa record this based on how long visitors view your pages , it's recorded in percentage, a lower bounce rate below 30% is excellent,  a bounce rate at 50-70% is good but bounce rate above 80% is bad


Google also take note of this to serve their customers right,  if google ranked one of your pages the first and the first 20 visitors only viewed the  page for 5  seconds and bounced back that's a high bounce rate which might hurt your page ranking.
